4.8.25 Mitchell BOS

Tuesday, April 8th at 8:30 am the Mitchell County Board of Supervisors will vote weather to engage an attorney from Des Moines to write two ordinances that could help create common sense protections from CO2 pipelines:

• a Right of Way Ordinance, that protects infrastruture that has been paid for by tax payers like roads and bridges
• a Setback and Zoning ordinance, that protects future economic development of the County

Both of these ordinances include setback distances between the proposed pipeline and homes, buissnesses, conservation areas and more!
