1.13.26 Mitchell Co petition delivery for Ordinance

Join us on Tuesday, January 13th at 8:30 am at the Mitchell County Courthouse to protect the people and places we love from CO2 pipelines!

We have seen overwhelming support for protections from Hazardous CO2 Pipelines in Mitchell County. Over 500 Mitchell County residents have signed on to our petition!

Now, we need County Supervisors to act on this community support by passing a Setback and Zoning Ordinance for Hazardous Liquid Pipelines, like the one Worth County passed earlier this year.

Supervisors have the power to address citizen's concerns and pass a strong ordinance that includes a half mile minimum separation distance between our homes, businesses, livestock and environmental areas, and Summit's proposed CO2 pipeline.

Let's show up strong, together to send a clear message to the Supervisors- that we need them to do their job and prioritize the county and its residents' safety, future, and best interest by passing this ordinance.
