Join us online to talk about The Education Wars: A Citizens Guide and Defense Manual, by Jennifer Berkshire and Jack Schneider.
We will meet 3 times to discuss specific chapters of The Education Wars. Join us for one or all of them. We'll be taking this book in bite-sized chunks so there is no pressure to finish it all in one sitting, although you might anyway!
• Tuesday, October 15 - We will discuss chapters 1-3 to ask "What is all the fighting about?"
• Tuesday, October 29 - We will discuss chapters 4-6 and examine threats to public schools.
• Tuesday, November 12 - We will discuss chapters 7 and 8 to find out how we can defend public education.
Then, join us for an Author Call with Jennifer Berkshire and Jack Schneider in mid-November. (date TBD)
All the book club meetings and this call will be held via Zoom, so you can join us from anywhere!
