2.15.24 Pipeline info mtg- Mitchell, Floyd Counties

Join local residents, and CCI members, for an informational meeting to learn about ways to take action against the proposed Co2 pipelines in Mitchell and Floyd counties!

Thursday, February 15^th from 6:00-7:30 pm at the South Square in St. Ansgar, IA.

We’ll have local speakers and an open discussion on topics like:
Property rights and eminent domain, water usage, local impacts, and a basic overview of what the Co2 pipeline is, why it’s been proposed, who has decision making power at the local, state, and federal levels, and what we as everyday people can do about it, together, here in North Central, Iowa!  

Co2 pipelines are a new technology being pushed by already wealthy greedy corporations. They are dangerous to our health, communities, and environment, and threaten to take Iowan’s land for private gain. Summit Carbon Solutions has proposed a route that goes through Mitchell and Floyd Counties.

Our rural communities are not a sacrifice zone and together we can work to slow down and stop these projects.
