Jenny Turner is a school speech-pathologist who worked for Heartland Area Education Agency (AEA) for 17 years. She is a public school mom, public education advocate, and serves on the Iowa CCI Board of Directors. Jenny lives in West Des Moines.
A life-long Iowan, greg wickenkamp has served as a classroom teacher, wilderness guide, nonprofit worker, and university lecturer. His experiences teaching have been referenced in the Washington Post, Slate, and CNN. Curious about how education might be liberatory, greg earned a Master of Arts in the Social Foundations of Education, graduate certificates in educating for social justice and African American studies. He is currently pursuing a PhD in history at the University of Iowa and is a proud member of UE local 896.
Tim Glaza is a community organizer with Iowa CCI and leads their public education campaign work. He was born and raised in Waterloo, IA. He studied politics and government at Iowa State University and Illinois State University. He served three years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Zambia.
