1.24.26 Chris Jones Town Hall

CCI Action want to make sure that conversations about protecting our water, revitalizing rural economies, and making sure farmers get a fair price are front and center for the 2026 election cycle.

That's why we are kicking off the new year with a Clean Water Town Hall featuring potential Secretary of Agriculture candidate and author of The Swine Republic- Chris Jones!

At the Town Hall on Saturday January 24th at Weingart Pavillion in Grinnell from 3:30-4pm we will:

• Get an overview of the crises facing our water, rural communities, and farmers in Iowa. 
• Hear the experiences of everyday Iowans impacted by these crises and ask tough questions we have for any candidate considering a run for Secretary of Agriculture.
• Open up the Town Hall to questions from the audience, so as many Iowans as possible have a chance to ask about the issues that matter to them.
