4.22.26 Earth Day: Iowa Water 101

Save the Date! Join us on Earth Day for an Iowa Water 101.  Together we'll take a short tour of Iowa's surface water and ground water (including aquifers). We'll learn where is it clean and why, where is it impaired or vulnerable and why, and the number of interconnected factors at play in Iowa.

We'll be joined by guest water quality expert Dr. Alyssa Mianecki, a researcher with the Univ. of Iowa's Center for Health Effects of Environmental Contamination (CHEEC). 

When:  Earth Day!  Wednesday, April 22 from 5-6 pm

• On Zoom - The meeting will be hosted on Zoom so you can tune in from anywhere.   
• Des Moines area - If you're in the Des Moines area, we invite you to watch it in community here on the big screen at the CCI headquarters.
